My name is Maidy Magadan, and I am a passionate therapist with a trauma-informed approach, trained in EMDR, and skilled in utilizing various evidence-based practices, including CBT and DBT. As a Latina woman, my journey into this field was driven by a desire to inspire growth, instill hope, and advocate for mental health awareness, particularly within underserved communities. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, in both individual and group settings. My expertise includes supporting clients navigating a wide range of challenges such as grief and loss, complex PTSD/trauma, abuse, anxiety, substance use, and depression. My goal is to provide a compassionate and supportive space for healing and growth. In practice, I am deeply committed to inclusiveness and value working with clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. My goal is to create not only a welcoming space where clients can feel respected and understood, but also where clients can reconnect with themselves, fostering resilience and self-compassion.

Driven by the belief that trauma shapes but does not define us, I am honored to support clients in rediscovering their inner strength and stepping into a future of possibility and hope. My approach is rooted in empathy, validation, and acceptance, creating a safe and compassionate space for clients to explore their stories and work toward healing collaboratively. I believe in meeting clients where they are, recognizing their unique strengths, and empowering them to rediscover hope and resilience. Whether addressing the effects of trauma, patterns of addiction, or fostering self-acceptance, I am committed to walking alongside my clients as they build a life of balance, growth, and possibility.
